Practice at home: Oral--Stimulus based conversation
Dear Parents,
You may want to try out the following exercise with your child at home to practise their Stimulus based conversation.They will be sitting for stimulus based conversation test on 4th May. Do follow the following structure when practising this with your child. Encourage them to :
1) Begin by Answering the question that the tester is asking
2) Get them to continue the conversation by giving a Reason for the answer
3) Get them to share their Experience that is related to the topic.

Math Mini Test 3 this Thursday
Dearest 2C,
I have returned your Math File since last week so that you can start revising for your Math Mini Test.
Topics to be Tested(Chapter 6, 7 and 8)
1) Multiplication 2,3,4,5,10
2) Word Problems: Multiplication and Division
3) Do revise those question in your Mini Test 1 and 2 as well.
Take Note
1. It is important for you to see that multiplication and division are closely related.
2. Multiplication is repeated addition. It is a good practice to write a multiplication equation in this structure --> G x E = T
3. Division involves sharing and grouping equally. Some division word problems require you to find how many in each group (E) while some need you to find the number of groups.
Division equation begins with TOTAL (T).
When a word problem is given, try to circle/underline the numbers given in the question. WHY?
--This helps you to see the numbers you needed to work with, in order to find the answer.
--At the same time, this helps to minimise transfer error that most of you always make. (Copy the numbers wrongly).
